Put Performance Problems in Perspective!

This chart was drawn for me on a napkin some 35 years ago when I took my first long pants and a tie job working for A&W Root Beer. It’s funny how the really important stuff sticks with you. Since that day I have drawn this chart on dozens of other napkins. It has helped to put into perspective performance problems that seemed larger than they really were. Now it’s your turn. Before you hit the print key, make sure your printer will handle napkins!
